Arcora Designs is a small business specialising in handmade crafts and operating out of South Western Sydney, Australia. It started as a creative outlet alongside university studies during the COVID-19 lockdown. It also started out with scented bath bombs before moving towards wooden keychains and bookmarks. Although I always wanted to sell the products I made, I never felt confident enough that they were worth it. Now I have found something I love and hope my customers enjoy adding an extra little something to their homes or outdoors spaces, or may even treat someone with a special gift from Arcora Designs.
About the Product
I have always loved modern homewares and decor and I have a solid collection of succulents in the backyard. At some point, I found concrete pots and fell in love with the look of them. After a little research and practice, I realised I could make them myself and was confident in the final product. Collecting pot moulds almost became an obsession and now I have a great little range with the hopes of continuing to expand.
Each pot is handmade with love and passion. Although I strive to make each one as perfect as I can, no two pieces are exactly the same. The very nature of the material means that every product will have its own little imperfections, adding a little character to each piece.
About Me
My name is Emma and I am 24 years old. I am a Speech Pathologist in South Western Sydney and Arcora Designs is my side hustle and creative outlet. I have always wanted to have my own small business and Iām very passionate about creating and presenting products I can be proud of which is reflected in the quality of each piece. I have really enjoyed learning the new skills involved in creating concrete pots and hope to continue expanding my skillset and range of items on offer.
